We like our sandwiches and found this shop by chance as it was local to our hotel. On the several occasions we have visited there, we have been very impressed with the quality (and quantity) of the sandwiches and the friendly attitude of the owner. As one reviewer says, this place is a little gem.

It's just a corner shop, but it also stocks local produce, and they will make to order the most delicious sandwiches with locally produce. After an early flight and transfer from Naples it really filled the spot.

An above average Spar shop with a wide range of stock at very reasonable prices, the surprise is the 'Bite of Italy' deli counter inside, which offers superb meats, cheeses and olives, plus a fantastic menu of freshly prepared Italian sub sandwiches. This store was a great support for my Sorrento stay, offering all the rose, cold beer, and, my personal choice, Roma Sandwiches, at a third of the price of the hotel I was staying at a few minutes away, and twice the quality. Lovely people running this store too. Grazie!

Don’t be put off by the fact this is a Spar, these sandwiches are amazing! The freshest of ingredients, incredible attention to detail and wonderful service. The tomatoes are so flavoursome and the local Mozzarella is just unbelievable. We spent 3 days in Sorrento and I had 4 sandwiches! Perfect for early morning excursions or late night room snacks. Would highly recommend!!

I wasn’t expecting much. I ate a huge extravagant 3-pasta course lunch from 2-5pm and thought I’d buy something (just in case I got hungry) for dinner at 10pm. I didn’t want pizza or anything since I was still full. I asked which sandwich to buy (pointing at the display) and was told to go for the Ham & Cheese (it was only €3.99). I brought it back to the hotel with a huge €1 sparkling water. The sandwich (and the shop) didn’t look like anything special. However, once I started eating the sandwich I couldn’t stop. It was so good! I’m not even a sandwich person but the mozzarella, tomato and ham just blended into a creamy yummy mix in my mouth. What a surprise! I’m so glad I stopped here instead of anywhere else. I might have to go back for more! It was definitely much better than any pizza.
